Requirements for Parents

o   Be in attendance at scheduled Parent/Teacher Fellowship gatherings.

o   Parents are required to cooperate with policies of Slavic Christian Academy or confront the issue of disagreement openly with the faculty or administration.

o   Parents ought to stay current with financial obligations to NWASBC Education Department. If a family falls behind in tuition payments for 30 days, they will be put on a probationary period for 30 days and be obliged to make the full payment, if the family fails to pay on time, they will be put on financial probation or asked to withdraw their child/ren.

o   Parents must be supportive of building character qualities from Evangelical Christian perspective, and support the Christian educational process in their home.  At least one parent must be a "born again Christian" and must attend church regularly and endeavoring to live a separated life from the world.  The same rules apply to new believers, who wish to enroll their child/ren at Slavic Christian Academy, unless the admission committee makes an exception.

o   Parents must desire a Christian education for their children, not just a desire to get them out of a negative situation. A student in grades 6-12 shall be willing to attend Slavic Christian Academy and come in good standing academically and behaviorally.  If a student qualifies for SCA Remedial Program, he/she needs to agree to do the required work.  Upon successful completion, a student will be transferred to a regular program.  Minimum one quarter is required for a student to transfer to classes that he/she pass successfully.

o   Parents must agree to support all Slavic Christian Academy policies, procedures, and actions without spreading dissension or strife.

Parent Commitment:

We will faithfully support the school through our prayers and positive attitude and share any complaints, questionable or negative comments, with ONLY the people involved (administration or faculty), and NOT around our child(ren).

We agree with the standards of conduct and discipline and grant authority to the teacher and administration to discipline our child(ren) when necessary. We further agree to cooperate and discipline our child(ren) at home ongoing.

We understand that the standards of Slavic Christian Academy do not tolerate profanity, obscenity in word or action, dishonor to the Holy Trinity and the Word of God, disrespect to the personnel of the school, or continued disobedience to the established policies of the school.

We understand that our failure to report any prescribed program of medication and/or involvement with the law or juvenile authorities may cause for immediate dismissal. We agree to report relevant psychiatric or psychological counseling information.

We will uphold the spiritual emphasis of Slavic Christian Academy. We agree that in order to effectively support the school, SCA requires our regular attendance and our child(ren) to actively attend church services.

We agree to hold and support the high academic standards of the school by providing a place at home for our child(ren) to study and to give our child(ren) encouragement in the completion of assigned homework.

We will support the school by regular involvement at parent/teacher fellowship meetings, seminars, workdays, open house, and other school-sponsored meetings and activities.

We understand and agree to the school's financial policy and withdrawal penalty. We understand that parent's failure to comply with the established regulations, discipline, parental commitment, and financial obligations will forfeit the student's privilege to attend Slavic Christian Academy. We understand that we need to have our own medical and major accident insurance in case of an emergency situation during school hours at the church facility.
